The RMH Foundation is grateful to the many businesses who support our community hospital, enhancing patient care with funding for equipment, capital projects, and technology needs. The WE ARE THE ROSS Business Community is a new program, created to recognize your exceptional caring.
What is the WE ARE THE ROSS Business Community? How do I join?
When your business supports the RMH Foundation through your donations, promotions, fundraising events, or employee giving campaigns, the impact of your giving extends beyond the walls of Ross Memorial Hospital. You are contributing to the health of everyone in Kawartha Lakes who counts on the hospital for care. We want to help let everyone know about the important role your business is playing in patient care with enhanced public exposure to build your brand.

My business has supported the Ross for years. Will our past giving be recognized?
Yes, absolutely! The RMH Foundation keeps records of every donation. The WE ARE THE ROSS Business Community recognition program will amplify your recognition with new opportunities to celebrate your giving as you reach new giving levels. These begin with website and social media mentions and grow to include branded signage for your business, feature stories and plaques on our donor wall. These recognition opportunities are cumulative as your giving grows. They are also optional.

$10,000 - $19,999 | Business qualifies for Provider plaque on Donor Recognition Wall; owners invited to special events |
$20,000 - $49,999 | Business qualifies for Benefactor plaque on Donor Recognition Wall; owners receive personal thank you from RMH board member; owners receive donor impact report |
$50,000 - $99,999 | Business qualifies for Patron plaque on Donor Recognition Wall; owners may discuss room naming opportunities with Foundation CEO |
$100,000+ | Business owners become members of the 1902 Society with plaque on 1902 Society donor wall in hospital’s main lobby and options for special recognition at events, hospital tours and naming opportunities |
How do I know what giving level my business has reached?
We keep records of every donation and will contact you each time your cumulative giving reaches the next level of recognition. If you choose to have a plaque, we will assist you to ensure the wording reflects the sentiment behind your support for the Ross. Please note, as per the Foundation’s Donor Recognition policy, business logos are not permitted on plaques.
